How To: Pause Protection
Use Pause Protection to temporarily disable Seraph Secure.
When Protection is paused, you will be able to visit websites, install programs, and run programs which would normally be blocked.
Warning! Scammers may try to convince you to disable Seraph Secure so that they can gain access to your computer.
If someone you don't know personally is telling you to Pause Protection:
- Stop communicating with them
- Seek advice from someone you know and trust
If you are using the Premium version of Seraph Secure, you will need your Admin PIN (See What is my Admin PIN).
▶ Open the Seraph Secure Home screen (See How To: Open the Home screen).
▶ Click the Settings button on the top of the Home screen.
▶ Click Pause Protection on the left of the Settings screen.
▶ On the Pause Protection screen:
If you are on the Premium version, enter your Admin PIN (See What is my Admin PIN?)
Choose a duration [1 / 5 / 10 / 30 minutes, or 1 hour]
Check I understand this will temporarily pause protection
Click Pause Protection
▶ The Home screen will change to display Protection Temporarily Paused and a timer.
▶ When the timer runs out, protection will resume automatically.
▶ To resume protection before the timer runs out, press Resume protection now.
